FIRST LOOK | Former NRL Star and Lifestyle CEO Confirmed as New Hosts for SELLING HOUSES AUSTRALIA
FOXTEL announced today that award-winning host and real estate expert Andrew Winter will be joined by new presenters, interior design expert Wendy Moore and landscape designer Dennis Scott.
Production starts next week with the Sale of houses in Australia The team spanning the length and breadth of the heart of Australia, bringing their inspired ideas and expertise to interior and exterior makeovers.
While the real estate market is booming, the market is a bit erratic and not all homes are easy to sell, so the team is ready to start transforming homes and lives.
Wendy moore closed off Beautiful australian house as editor-in-chief for over 12 years, combining her interior and design expertise with a communication force with a passionate audience.
With interior design and makeover projects also under her belt, Wendy joined as a judge on Channel 7’s house rules for seven seasons, which showcased his in-depth knowledge of high-end and mainstream interiors. Wendy will bring her design expertise and passion to those homeowners who desperately need her help to take their home to the next level and be ready for sale.
Wendy continues in her role as Managing Director of FOXTEL’s LifeStyle Group, overseeing all aspects of FOXTEL’s iconic LifeStyle brand, including LifeStyle, LifeStyle HOME, the LifeStyle FOOD channels and FOX ARENA.
Dennis scott will assume his role as Resident Landscape Expert, bringing a wealth of sustainability experience and a passion for designing functional and unique outdoor spaces in Australia. Dennis owns Lush Landscape Solutions, a Brisbane-based landscape company that provides services in everything from landscape design and construction to property maintenance.
Dennis, a former rugby league player, had a ten-year NRL career that began in 1996 when he played for the Brisbane Broncos. Dennis joined Canterbury-Bankstown in 1999 for the next six years, then linked with Craig Bellamy and the Melbourne Storm for two seasons in 2005, 2006.
Announcing his retirement from the NRL after a long battle with injuries, Dennis decided to focus on the long term rather than the short term reward of having to finish the season and made the difficult transition to a career after the sport. Dennis began an apprenticeship as an elderly carpenter in his friend’s construction business.
It was around this time that Dennis turned to landscaping, out of a need to offer a complete building and landscape package. Dennis fell in love with landscaping and fulfilled his dream of starting his own business and Lush Landscape Solutions was born.
